Women in construction: Bryden Wood celebrate International Women’s Day

Healthy Chocolate Mug Cake.

So that’s what I’ve promised myself to make sure I’m working on first. Those things that won’t (probably) lead to my eventual insanity.

And won’t take away from our roof fund until we know how much that’s actually going to cost..Pulling up the peel and stick tile from the front hall.. And that yard.So for now, that corner of Kennedy’s room is at least tidy and I’m about to really roll up my sleeves.I found these great pillowcases at the dollar store the other day.

They were in a pack of 2 for just $2.I didn’t know what I would do with them, but of course I found something within about 26 hours.

Actually I found a few somethings.

And this is one of them.. Taa daa! When our old fridge died a few months ago, I went ahead and bought the fridge I really wanted.

Even though it didn’t match any of our other appliances, even though it was too big for the space we had for it and we had to knock out some parts of the cabinetry..I don’t think I could find a fridge to match this stove even if I tried anyway!

Well, at least not without going back to 1972.. That one’s next on my list of big expensive appliances that I’ll probably put off buying until I absolutely have to.I’m hoping I get the guts to take the plunge and get the matching range to my fridge though one day soon..
