I know Christmas here last year didn’t seem sad and pathetic.It was our first Christmas in our new house!

We were finally where we’re supposed to be.We were living the dream!.I think I just mostly didn’t do a very good job of documenting all the things that made the house feel special and personal and like it was our home for real.

When you start with all your planning and decorating so early, you can start to feel Christmassed out around this time of year.Flags and patriotic decor in general just always seem right in the Summer.

We’re in Canada here, but I have the Stars and Stripes going too.It’s the neighborly thing to do.
